May 27, 2008- Update

One of the people ("gotta lotta hay") dropped by the other day to find out more of what I'm doing. He asked about the swales and I explained "don't know that I need them but they basically store water underground as a drought preventative." He said, "it sounds like science." "Yes," I replied, "Design Science."

Showed him the apples and pears and lettuce and garlic and herbs and he seemed somewhat impressed. "When it all crashes down you'll at least be able to eat," he said. "That's the idea," I responded.
